Armchair Cynics

Armchair Cynics was a rock band from Victoria, British Columbia, Canada formed in 2000 by Kenn Coutu (vocals/guitar), Adam Sutherland (guitar) Ford Michael Piercey (bass) and Ryan Rae (drums). They recorded a self-released album ''Coffee-shop Confessions'' in 2003. In 2004 the band signed a recording and development contract with Vancouver based 604 Records. In 2005 they released the EP ''Killing the Romance'' distributed by Universal Music Canada. The recording resulted in three singles: "Bang", "Coalmine" and "Surprise Ending". On October 6, 2009, the band released their debut full length album titled ''Starting Today'' produced by Dave Genn, and mixed by Mike Fraser. After disbanding, Kenn Coutu started an Alternative Country band called Bucko & Toad with his wife.
